An exceptionally rare original Castrol lubrication index wall chart, dating to circa 1960–1961 and produced for use in professional garages and commercial workshops.


Unlike the more commonly found single-sheet vehicle charts, this is a large-format master index covering a wide range of commercial vehicles from 1946 to 1961. The chart features a two-part hinged design, with a lower section that lifts to reveal extended lubrication data, an uncommon and highly practical format used in busy workshop environments.


Printed in Castrol’s classic green and red branding, the chart provides detailed reference tables for engine oils, gear oils and greases, making it both a functional historical document and a striking display piece.


Condition; Good original condition with expected age-related wear, staining and edge fraying from workshop use. Structurally complete and displays very well.
