An exceptional late-Victorian embossed aqua glass mineral water bottle produced for the renowned Norfolk brewers Steward & Patteson Ltd of Norwich and Swaffham.


Manufactured in a striking pale aqua glass with a classic heavy blob-top collar, this bottle was specifically engineered to withstand the intense internal pressure generated by carbonated mineral waters during the late 19th century.


The front carries deeply molded advertising “STEWARD & PATTESON Lᵀᴰ” “NORWICH & SWAFFHAM”


While the reverse bears the highly collectible maker’s mark, “E. BREFFIT & CO Lᴰ, MAKERS, CASTLEFORD”


The base additionally features Steward & Patteson’s distinctive registered “keyhole” trademark incorporating the S&P monogram.


Condition; Displays beautifully with authentic age-related wear, minor internal residue and characteristic seed bubbles within the glass consistent with Victorian manufacture. Strong embossing throughout.
