Antique Travelling Cup in Leather Case – Red Velvet Lined

A charming and unusually compact antique travelling drinking cup, complete with its original fitted leather case, lined internally in rich deep red velvet.

The cup measures approximately 3¼ inches (8.25cm) high and is of simple cylindrical form, with a polished silver-coloured exterior and contrasting gilt-coloured interior. The cup fits neatly into its original purpose-made leather case, which has a wonderfully tactile, aged appearance with dark leather banding and a fitted lid.

Condition; Good antique condition commensurate with age and use, with age-related marks, scuffs and patination to the leather case and surface wear to the cup. Original red velvet lining retained. Please study photographs carefully as these form an important part of the description.
