1930’s Bakelite Art Deck Period Pocket Watch Holder And Smiths Empire Pocket Watch
A 1930’s chocolate brown and cream bakelite pocket watch holder/ dock, complete with a working Smiths Empire pocket watch.
This beautiful little bedside accessory would have been used on an evening to dock your pocket watch, to enable it to be used as a bedside clock throughout the night.
Made from bakelite and in classic 1930’s colours and iconic art deco style this sure oozes both style and elegance. In overall good condition, although there has been some ware with age whereby the sides have been glued along the seams in places (clearly documented in the listing photographs).
Also present is a Smiths Empire pocket watch, this is in working order and would seem to be powered by movement. It has not been serviced by ourselves/ whilst in our ownership and thus we cannot ensure time keeping.
