WWII U.S. M3 Fighting Knife – Stacked Leather Grip, Field-Carried Example (c.1943)

An authentic Second World War U.S. M3 Fighting Knife, introduced in 1943 for American infantry and airborne troops as a dedicated close-combat weapon. This example retains its original stacked leather washer grip with the characteristic grooved profile and steel guard. The blade shows a mature, even patination from service use, giving it the unmistakable presence of a knife that has seen the field rather than a drawer.

The M3 occupies a key place in WWII military edged-weapon history, bridging the evolution between trench fighting knives of the Great War and the combat/utility blades that followed.

A genuine period piece with strong character and authenticity, ready for display.

Measuring approximately 15.5” total length (5” handle/ grip length and 10.5” blade length)
