Vintage French Belle Provence Confiture Tin Pail

A wonderfully decorative piece of vintage French commercial packaging, this charming lithographed tin pail originally contained strawberry preserves, bearing the colourful branding for “Confitures Belle Provence de Marius Carrely” and “Fraises.”

Retaining its original wire swing handle, together with an unusual extended hanging hook and chain, this makes a particularly interesting decorative piece and could be displayed on a shelf or suspended as an unusual piece of vintage kitchenalia.

Dimensions: Approximately 4.75 inches (12 cm) tall and 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) diameter.

Condition: Aged and well-worn throughout, with rubbing, losses and surface wear to the colourful lithographed decoration, together with areas of oxidation and age-related marks.
