Original 1950’s/60s Funfair/ Fairground Attraction Hand Painted Showman’s Sign - Repainted in 1970/71
The most wonderful vintage hand painted showman’s sign. This funfair attraction fare sign actually dates to the late 1950’s/ early 1960’s if dating from when it was first made. This charming sign has been overpainted by what appears to be the same hand, around 1970/ 71 upon the change to decimalisation.
If you carefully study the photographs@you can see the remains of the previous fare price from day long past. Single sided and hand painted onto steel.
