Late 19th Century Italian Green Glass Decanter Set With Sterling Silver Overlay
An antique late 19th century Italian green glass decanter set with shot glasses and a sterling silver overlay.
Made in Murano, Italy, these were popular from the late 19th century until World War II. The set is likely hand-blown, and the silver overlay was a common decorative technique during that period.
There are no know chips or cracks to any of the glasses or the decanter/ stopper. There is a small area of loss to the silver overlay on the upper of the decanter.
