Hand-Carved Wooden Candlesticks – Pair, 30” Tall

A striking pair of large hand-carved wooden candlesticks, each standing approximately 30 inches tall.

The candlesticks have been very nicely carved with fluted columns, turned and moulded details, and particularly attractive foliate carving to the stepped bases, giving them a substantial architectural character.

Although not antique, they have a convincing traditional appearance and the quality of the hand carving makes them considerably more interesting than modern mass-produced examples. Their generous scale would make them particularly effective as decorative floor-standing pieces, either side of a fireplace, doorway, console or within a larger interior scheme.

Presented in good overall condition commensurate with their handmade nature, with an attractive aged/dark timber finish.
