A particularly elegant Edwardian octagonal centre or occasional table, crafted in richly figured rosewood and beautifully decorated with delicate satinwood line inlay.

Standing on four slender tapered legs terminating in the original brass and ceramic castors, the table has a wonderfully light, graceful appearance whilst remaining sturdy.

The table is structurally sound and displays beautifully, though it has seen over a century of use. There are numerous historic repairs and restorations commensurate with age, together with general surface wear, marks and imperfections expected from a well-loved antique. These repairs do not detract from its decorative appeal and should be viewed as part of its history.
