An early and scarce example of the “Waverley Mixture” by Lambert and Butler tobacco advertising sign. Of large proportions this single sided enamel is a scarce and early variant of the more common black and white enamel.
Retaining vibrant colours and a strong gloss, there are natural losses to the enamel and a number of well patinated areas which have aged with time.
