Antique Oak Smoker’s Pipe Cabinet with Folding Pipe Rests
£195.00
A charming late Victorian/ early Edwardian oak smoker’s cabinet, designed for the storage and display of pipes and tobacco accessories.
The cabinet features a glazed door with brass escutcheon and working lock with key, opening to reveal a small internal storage space with a drawer at the base, traditionally used for tobacco or smoking tools.
On each side of the cabinet are folding pipe racks, allowing pipes to be rested while cooling and conveniently folded away when not in use. The piece can be displayed either free-standing on a desk or sideboard, or wall mounted using the original hanging holes to the rear.
The top is finished with an attractive pierced decorative gallery, a design detail commonly seen on smoking cabinets from the late 19th century.
Good antique condition with light wear consistent with age and use.
Measuring 13” tall, 6” wide, 6” deep
