A substantial antique French champagne or wine cooler, crafted in heavy metal and retaining a deep, time-worn patina. The cooler is of classic tapered form with twin applied side handles and fine horizontal banding to the body.

The front is engraved in elegant cursive script “B. Clément”, suggesting a personal commission or original ownership, adding individuality and charm.

To the underside, the cooler bears the French maker’s/export mark “UNIS FRANCE” this mark is characteristic of late 19th to early 20th century French metalware, commonly produced for export and high-end hospitality use.
