Antique Architectural Mirror Panel with Bevelled Glass & Carved Detail — Likely 19th Century
£195.00
A striking 19th century architectural mirror panel, originally crafted as part of a larger piece, most likely a door, overmantel, or built-in furnishing from a Victorian or late Georgian interior. This elegant fragment has been sensitively repurposed as a standalone mirror, retaining all the depth and craftsmanship of its original context.
The frame is crafted from rich, dark-stained hardwood and features crisp vertical fluting running down each side, paired with a beautifully carved arched upper section that gives the piece its refined architectural presence.
The mirror plate itself is original and features a bevelled edge, a mark of quality associated with 19th century craftsmanship.
Good antique condition. The frame shows age-expected wear, small marks, and surface variations consistent with age. The mirror plate has light oxidation and subtle foxing, adding charm and authenticity. Solid and ready to hang or lean.
Measuring 31.75” by 19.25”
