An Amateur Artist Original Copy Of French Artist Antoine Ferracci Oil On Canvas
A well done amateur artists copy of an original oil on canvas painting by French artist Antoine Ferracci (1890-1984).
It depicts two cherubic figures in a sepia-toned, pastoral setting. This has been painted onto canvas, stretched over wooden board. You can see the pencil lines of the hand drawn stencil used by said amateur.
Ferracci was a student of Luc Olivier Merson and Cormon and exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1920. His works often feature landscapes and scenes from Paris, and his style is considered part of the realism movement.
