A truly impressive Victorian carousel “prancer” horse from the renowned period gallopers “The Ride Of Savage Horses” by Frederick Savage.
Frederick Savage of Kings Lynn, Norfolk, was a prominent Victorian fairground ride manufacturer.
The beautiful hand carved galloper is untouched retaining original paintwork, horsehair tail and glass eyes.
With only minor damage to extremities, there are surface cracks to the outer wood/ paint however there a no splits and all parts are structurally solid.
