A Fine Early 19th Century Regency Period Mahogany Pedestal Pembroke Table
£795.00
A fine early 19th century Regency period mahogany pedestal Pembroke/ sofa table of elegant proportion and superb timber quality.
Raised on a turned and reeded central column terminating in four reeded sabre legs with original brass cup castors, the table displays classic Regency refinement and balance. The rich mahogany top, with beautifully figured grain, is complemented by two drop leaves allowing the table to extend with ease, making it both practical and visually versatile.
The frieze houses a single drawer with original brass knobs and working lock, retaining a pleasing symmetry and understated detailing typical of the period.
The colour and patina are particularly strong, with deep, warm tones across the surface and a consistent finish that speaks to careful use and preservation over time.
Circa: 1810/ 1830
Condition; Good antique condition with minor age-related wear, light surface marks and patina consistent with use. Structurally sound and ready for use.
