1928 News Of The World Knowle Dirt Track Bristol Championship Belt
A fine 1920s championship belt, mounted with solid silver plaques and central solid silver and enamel plaque ‘News of the World, Knowle Dirt Track Bristol Championship Belt’, hallmarked Birmingham 1928. Complimented by a selection of 1920s speedway photographs including ‘Suicide Bob Perry wall of death rider, Southend on Sea’.
The belt is in exemplar condition, blue suede outer with no marks or damage and a blue leather inner, also with no marks or damage. The enamel plaque is in perfect condition, no chips or hazing and all silver plaques complete, secure and damage free. The buckle is also present although there is minor damage to the locking bar.
